Account Safety
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Our service only reads your public inventory to show you an estimated value — we never take control of your account or your items. Still, it's worth keeping your Steam account safe wherever you use it.
Protect your Steam account
- Turn on the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator.
- Only sign in through the official Steam page — check the address bar shows steamcommunity.com with a valid HTTPS lock.
- Never share your password, Steam Guard codes or Steam Web API key with anyone, including people claiming to be our staff.
- If you think your account has been compromised, change your password and revoke your API key at steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey immediately.
What we will never do
- We will never ask for your password, Steam Guard codes or Web API key.
- We will never ask you to send a trade offer, pay a fee or "verify" your items — this site does not trade or take payments.
- We will never message you first on Steam chat, Discord or email asking you to do any of the above. Anyone who does is not us — please report it.
A note on skin values
- Prices shown here are estimates and change over time — treat them as a guide, not a guarantee.
- We do not offer gambling, cases or games of chance. If you feel you are losing control of spending on games or chance-based mechanics, independent help is available, for example from BeGambleAware or Gambling Therapy.
Minors
This service is for adults aged 18+. Parents can use Steam Family View to manage access on shared computers.
